NZ Petrolhead breakfast – Wanaka

Welcome Wanaka! Anything classic and collectable is welcome to the NZ Petrolhead breakfast at Warbirds and Wheels Café car park, just inside the main entrance at Wanaka Airport, SH6, Wanaka. Running from 8.30am to 11.00am, there’s a special menu with a choice of brunch items plus tea or coffee $15, plus discounted entry to the visitor attraction. NZ Petrolhead breakfast - Mana, Wellington

The new NZ Petrolhead in Mana, Wellington, is hosted by Gear Jammers at the Sandbar Restaurant and Bar, 103 Mana Esplanade. The fun runs from 8.00am to 10.00am on the first Sunday of the month, there’s a $10 breakfast special, and tea and coffee will also be available. NZ Petrolhead breakfast - Tauranga

Tauranga now has a NZ Petrolhead breakfast, at Drivers Bar, 11th Ave Plaza, Tauranga, from 8.00am to 11.00am on the first Sunday of the month. Drivers Bar is well known for its monthly Friday cruise night, so the team knows how to look after car enthusiasts. There’s a buffet breakfast, which includes a complimentary filter coffee. NZ Petrolhead breakfast – Gisborne

Gisborne’s existing breakfast has become an official NZ Petrolhead, and therefore has moved to the first Sunday of the month. It also has a new venue new: Café Ruba, 14 Childers Road, Gisborne. NZ Petrolhead breakfast - Hamilton

Hamilton has joined the NZ Petrolhead breakfast line up as of January 2013, meeting on the first Sunday of the month at the new Classics Museum, 11 Railside Place, Hamilton. Organised by Ian ‘Headbanger’ Elstob (‘Banger’ for short) the Gore NZ Petrolhead breakfast is at the Capri Restaurant, 71 to 73 Main Street, Gore. Auckland’s NZ Petrolhead breakfast is on the first Sunday of every month, from 7.30am. This popular get-together is held at Bellagio Café in Plunket Ave, Manukau City, South Auckland. Come along, enjoy a hot breakfast, and check out the cars. Contact Alistair Davidson for more details.

Oamaru is the latest addition to the ‘first Sunday of the month’ NZ Petrolhead breakfasts. Held at Portside Restaurant & Bar, 2 Waterfront Road, Oamaru, this gathering is attracting a good number of participants thanks to the cool cars, good food and great company.
